The packaging for the DVD and Blu-Ray can be very finicky and scratch discs if you are not careful so if you have small kids or want added security I'd recommend getting a disc binder/wallet for storage. All the episodes from the first five seasons of the children's animation following the adventures of a young boy and a magic dog in a post-apocalyptic world. My eyes tend to be forgiving to imperfections. One last point if you are a purist of quality I recommend the Blu-rays. If you have a 4k TV just be aware it will be okay but the Blu-ray is preferable for 4k. If you have a 1080p TV do not sweat the DVD release. The quality was tolerable on a 50 inch 4k TV. The quality of the picture was good on a 40 inch 1080p TV. I decided to also pick up the DVD version for $67 to test this as well. If you have a strict Region A or C Blu-ray player you may have problems.Īlso, in regard to the DVD set Adventure Time: The Complete Series I read multiple reviews that said the 480p picture quality was terrible. The discs themselves are coded for unlocked or Region 0. Now I have no doubt some players may not be able to play these discs. Despite it being labeled Region B all discs played on my PS4 and PS4 Pro in the USA. It came in a 2 case packaging so it was not the deluxe 10 case version. I ended picking up the Adventure Time: The Complete Collection package from Amazon directly for $70. I wanted to follow up for people who may be searching for this in the future. A couple weeks ago I made a post asking if the Adventure Time Blu-ray set from Madman would play on a US Blu-ray player.
